911 Cup Series

The 2018 911 Cup Series

The 2018 911 Cup Series has come to a close!   The R7 and STD class winners Dan Martinson and Mark White, respectively, are shown on the page header celebrating their win.

2018 brought a new series to PCA Club Racing.  It was run within the PCA “E” class with two sub-classes based on tire spec.  As you can see on the page graphic, the sub-classes were identified with a windshield banner: a black banner for Hoosier R7  tires and a white banner for Hoosier Street TD.

The 911 Cup Series covered 5 of the PCA scheduled races starting with Sebring in February followed, in order, with Road Atlanta, Barber Motorsports, Watkins Glen, and finishing at Road America over Labor Day weekend.

The series tracked with the standard PCA points system with the following exceptions:

  • All three races during each event will count toward 911 Cup Series championship points: Sprint 1, Sprint 2, and the Enduro.
  • Championship will be determined by taking points from 4 of 5 events.

Season ending standings are found below.
